Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Merrill hosted an event on Saturday to help raise money for Ukraine.
The event was a bake sale, with all proceeds going to the Lutheran World Relief. The Lutheran World Relief is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian aid to people in need around the world.
The bake sale was a success, with over 100 people attending and donating over $1,000. The money raised will go to help the people of Ukraine who have been affected by the war.
"We are so grateful for the support of our community," said Pastor John Smith of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. "The money raised will go a long way in helping the people of Ukraine who are in need."
The war in Ukraine has caused a humanitarian crisis, with millions of people displaced from their homes. The Lutheran World Relief is working to provide food, water, shelter, and medical care to those in need.
The organization is also working to help people rebuild their lives after the war. The Lutheran World Relief is a trusted partner in providing humanitarian aid, and the money raised at the bake sale will help them continue their important work.
