Christian singer Megan Danielle shines with her powerful voice on American Idol

 


Megan Danielle, a 19-year-old singer from Georgia, has made it to the Top 3 on American Idol with her stunning performances. The Christian singer has impressed the judges and the viewers with her unique tone and emotional delivery.


Megan auditioned for American Idol with Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” and got a surprise visit from the singer herself. She also revealed that she switched to Christian music after her grandfather’s advice and that she wanted to share her love of God through her songs.


Megan had previously competed on The Voice season 18 and was on Kelly Clarkson’s team. She reached the Top 9 before being eliminated. She also met fellow American Idol contestant Michael Williams on The Voice.


Megan has faced many challenges in her life, including her parents’ divorce when she was 7 years old and her grandfather’s death a year ago. She said that music helped her cope with her pain and that she wanted to inspire others with her story.


Megan has performed songs by artists like Bonnie Raitt, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Bob Dylan and Chris Stapleton on American Idol. She has received praise from the judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan for her authenticity and growth.


Megan will now compete for the title of American Idol against Chayce Beckham and Willie Spence in the grand finale on Sunday night. She will also perform with Fall Out Boy as part of the star-studded show.
